How to get to Berlin

Berlin is easily accessible by car, train and airplane.  All major airlines offer service to one of the Berlin airports (Berlin-Tegel TXL or Berlin-Schönefeld SHO).

How to get around in Berlin

Berlin has very convenient public transportation.  However, be aware that the conference centre (Federal Institute of Risk Assessment) is located in the outskirts of Berlin. Therefore, make sure to plan in advance your trip. It takes approximately an hour to commute between the centre and the conference hall. Please click here for more information on public transportation and the way to the BfR (MORE)

Where to stay in Berlin

Berlin is an inexpensive European city. You get the whole range of hotel accommodation from deluxe hotels to youth hostels. We recommend that you book a hotel in the vicinity of the conference centre, since it is in the outskirts of Berlin. Please find a list of hotels at this link (hotels and hostels)

Food

Coffee, tea, water, cookies and fruits are served during all coffee breaks in the Foyer and Gallery.
