On behalf of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife
Research (IZW) in Berlin we wish to extend a cordial
invitation to you to participate in the "1st PhD
student symposium in Wildlife Research",
between 11th and 12th September 2008 here in Berlin,
Germany.
This symposium aims to bring together PhD students
from different disciplines in the field of wildlife
research (biologists and veterinarians) with interest
in both wild and captive animals in an informal meeting.
It is initiated by the PhD students of the IZW, and
will provide the opportunity to discuss and present
your research in a less official but highly motivated
mainly student audience. Get the chance to exchange
yourself with colleagues and external experts about
current research topics.
We are very pleased to announce the attendance of
four external specialists from the field of conservation
biology in our symposium:
