Kurzer Lebenslauf

Dr. Voigt studierte an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Deutschland, wo er im Jahr 1998 unter Prof. Otto von Helversen seine Dissertation abschloss. Anschließend arbeitete er als DAAD postdoc an der Boston University und Cornell University (U.S.A.) über die Soziobiologie und sensorische Ökologie von Fledermäusen. Nach einem kurzen postdoc-Aufenthalt an der Universität Bielefeld, wechselte er 2001 als Wissenschaftler an das Leibniz-IZW. 2007 habilitierte Dr. Voigt an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, wo er bis 2010 als Privatdozent tätig war. Seit 2010 hält er eine Vorlesung über Verhaltensökologie sowie ausgewählten Themen (Mensch-Wildtier-Konflikte und Biologie der Fledermäuse). Dr. Voigt arbeitet als assoziierter Herausgeber für zwei wissenschaftliche Journals und beratend für UNEP/EUROBATS. Außerdem ist er Mitglied zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Organisationen. Er hat mehr als 200 Artikel in Zeitschriften mit Qualitätskontrolle publiziert und ein E-Buch über ‚Bats in the Anthropocene’ herausgegeben.
