Kurzer Lebenslauf

Adj. Prof. Robert Hermes ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Leibniz-IZW in der Abteilung Reproduktionsmanagement und adjunct Professor an der University of Sydney. Er studierte Tiermedizin an der Freien Universität Berlin, wo er auch seinen Doktortitel erlangte. Seit 2000 ist er Seniorwissenschaftler am Leibniz-IZW und Spezialist für Reproduktionsmanagement und assistierte Reproduktion von Nashörnern. 2013 habilitierte er auf dem Gebiet Wildlife Conservation Medicine an der Universität Wien. Hermes ist europäischer Fachtierarzt für Zootiermedizin (Diplomate, European College of Zoological Medicine).
