Wildlife pathology and disease diagnosticsThe Leibniz-IZW performs pathology investigations of mammals, birds and reptiles from captive and free-ranging populations. The detailed pathological and bacteriological diagnostic examinations of individual animals often pave the way for in-depth investigations of emerging disease problems. |
Electron microscopyThe electron microscopy (EM) unit of the Leibniz-IZW with its transmission electron microscope and field emission scanning electron microscope is a central facility within the institute and open to all research groups as well as to external collaborators. |
