The Nutritional Physiology Laboratory provides research-accompanying services. These services can be used by cooperation partners against reimbursement of the costs for consumables. The aim of the cooperation is always a joint publication.
- macronutrients (crude protein; starch/glucose; sucrose/fructose; fiber analysis after Van Soest; crude fiber; crude fat; energy ) and minerals (ICP/OES) from plant and faeces samples to estimate diet quality,
- tannin-binding-capacity of saliva as a measure for coping with the effects of plant secondary compounds,
- fecal particle size to gauge digestion physiology and/or diet quality.
