Short curriculum vitae

I am a biologist with 10+ years of NGS data-driven research experience, assembling sequences and connecting genes with phenotypes and biological processes. Alumnus of the University of Buenos Aires, I defended a Licentiate thesis about coagulation physiology in pathological situations associated with particular mutations; and a PhD thesis in evolutionary biology investigating genome-wide responses to stressing environments. Lately, I have been working on research projects where reference genomes production has played a central role, supporting applications in biodiversity genomics.
