Short curriculum vitae
Jan Zwilling studierte Geographie, Politikwissenschaften und Geoinformatik in Berlin. Nach einem Praktikum in der Pressestelle des Leibniz-IZW im Jahr 2008 arbeitete er studienbegleitend in Presseagenturen und Pressestellen. Von 2012 bis 2018 leitete er die Pressestelle des Leibniz-Instituts für Raumbezogene Sozialforschung (IRS). Am Leibniz-IZW ist er seit 2018 für Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Corporate Publishing, Online und Social Media zuständig. Neben seiner Kommunikationsarbeit für das Leibniz-IZW ist er nebenberuflich als Natur- und Landschaftsfotograf sowie als Autor tätig.
