Kurzer Lebenslauf
Dr. Tessa Höper obtained a Master of Science in Food Chemistry from the University of Münster and earned her doctor’s degree from Freie Universität Berlin. Tessa’s work focuses on deciphering the proteome using modern high-resolution mass spectrometry approaches. Past projects focused on human skin, immunology and the microbiome. Since 2024, she joined IZW and currently heads the proteomics laboratory. There, she is currently researching emerging wildlife diseases using bacterial biotyping and shotgun proteomic analyses of tissues e.g. plasma and serum from affected animals.
