Kurzer Lebenslauf

Claudia A. Szentiks is veterinary pathologist in the Department of Wildlife Diseases at the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research since 2007. She graduated 2002 in veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover and finished her residency for veterinary pathology and her doctoral theses in 2007 at the Institute for Pathology at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. In 2008 she became certified veterinary pathologist. As a member of the national documentation and consultation center of Germany for the wolves which was founded in 2016 (DBBW, Dokumentations- und Beratungsstelle des Bundes zum Thema Wolf) her work mostly concentrates on monitoring the causes of death and does research on health and diseases in the middle European lowland wolf population.
